Tapestry, large, Reflections Tapestry, handspun blues and oranges

This tapestry has been created using my handspun coil wool in shades of blues and oranges.  Black and silver are commercially prepared yarns.  

The idea behind this tapestry is the reflection of a sunset shoreline on the water.  The moon falling from the sky and dangling precariously at the tip of a silver dream.  

The warm oranges are a comforting contrast against the cool blues.  The textures provided by this hand spun yarn are outstanding.  The colour changes and shapes are eye catching.

A mid sized tapestry at 11" wide and 24" long hanging on a small piece of weathered driftwood.

Acrylic diamond beads are suspended in the moon hollows.
